🍏 Apple Harvest Day Event + Join the 2027 Waterfront Events Team!

As we wrap up an unforgettable first season along the Cochecho River, we want to share our deepest gratitude with all of you. You’ve welcomed us to Dover with genuine warmth, incredible excitement, and so many wonderful stories of the city you love. Every time someone asks how our inaugural year went, our answer always comes back to this community—your energy, your passion, and the amazing river we’re lucky enough to share with you.

But don't pack up your paddles just yet—we’ve got one more weekend of ‘yakin left!

Join us for our final weekend of the season (10 AM – 6 PM), including a special event this Saturday as we join the rest of Dover in celebrating Apple Harvest Day!

To mark the occasion, we’re throwing a Special Kayak Scavenger Hunt out on the water. Bring your game face (and a camera), put your apple sleuthing skills to the test, and navigate nooks and crannies of the river to find all the hidden apples and be entered for a chance to win a FREE 2027 Membership! To give you the fuel you need to succeed, we’re giving away a free snack or drink to everyone who rents a kayak.

Come kick off October, soak up the fall foliage from the river, and help us close out our first season with a hurrah. We can’t wait to see you on the water!

What’s coming in 2027? What are you doing this winter?

Those are the question we get asked most—and our answer is simple: We’re building the future of Nebi Park.

In our proposal to the City of Dover, we laid out a bold vision for the Cochecho River Waterfront: guided tours, youth summer camps, music events, mini festivals, a coffee stand, and year-round community programming. This winter, behind the scenes, we’re bringing those ideas to life. Come Spring 2027, Nebi Park won't just be an outdoor space—it’s going to be THE destination to connect with nature and the Dover community.

And we want you to help shape it.

To deliver what our community truly wants, we need local voices, passion, and ideas:

  • Share Your Voice: Over 223 residents have already filled out the Cochecho River Recreation Community Engagement Survey If you haven’t yet, please take five minutes to tell us what you want to see!

  • Join the Waterfront Events Team: Later this fall, we’re launching the Nebi Park Waterfront Events Team—a collaborative group of Dover residents, local business owners, and advocates who will help bring this vision to life. Together, we will analyze survey data, recruit business partners and corporate sponsors, and develop the event lineup for 2027.

Whether you're an event organizer, a local business owner, or a resident who loves this city and wants to see it thrive, we need your energy.
